|dc.description.abstract||This paper will discuss the opportunities available to businesses, industries, and public entities in the restructured electric market in Texas. We will provide a case study of the demand side and supply side options that have been used by the City of Farmers Branch to optimize their savings and comply with Senate Bill 5. The paper will also discuss the experiences, future opportunities and obstacles that can be used by customer groups to increase their savings through load profile shaping and load management. These and other methods of involving public and private entities in the restructured Texas market will be covered.||en_US|
