Item Multi-Characteristic Status Situations and the Determination of Power and Prestige Order(2015-08-06) Berger, Joseph; Fisek, M. Hamit; Crosbie, Paul VThis technical report builds on the research reported in Technical Report 32. The theoretical goal was to further compare predictions based on combining all status information and predictions based on "balancing" or ignoring some information. The combining assumption was later incorporated in the general theory.Item Stability of Organizational Status Structures(2015-07-14) Zelditch, Morris Jr; Berger, Joseph; Cohen, Bernard PThe authors develop theoretical foundation for ideas in earlier technical reports and elsewhere on status consistency, focusing on effects for organizations.
