Educating and preparing the leaders of tomorrow for the challenges they will face is the most important job of teachers today. It is up to those who pass laws and make decisions regarding how this task will be carried out to ensure that the inputs provided are structured so as to get the best value and the most equal treatment for all students. The findings of this study indicate that higher levels of per-capita funding are beneficial for test scores, high levels of state funding improve graduation rates and that the level of teacher education is irrelevant to improving student performance. Schools must have the resources and skills to cater to each and every one of its students and provide them with the best quality instruction by equalizing resources. Only then can we say that we live in a free society, on in which individuals can achieve their dreams if they work hard and play by the rules.en
