Abstract
In this thesis we develop some programs to check the robust stability of sampled interval control systems subject to parametric uncertainty. We also offer another technique for both checking the stability and designing sampled interval control systems. This technique turns out to be much simpler than that already available in current research. We first present the properties for the stability of segments and sampled interval polynomials. Then we consider Katbab and Jury's result that gave necessary and sufficient conditions to check the stability of a real linear interval control system described by the polytopic family of characteristic polynomials [ ] Where the Qi(z) are fixed and the Pi(z) are interval polynomial, i = 1, 2, 3......... n. Next a new technique which greatly utilizes Rouche's theorem is introduced for checking and designing sampled interval control systems.
