Abstract
The book describes the performance of pecan trees; water testing; determining how water quality may affect tree growth; improving drainage; selecting an irrigation system, and water conditioning to manage nutrients. It also describes how to estimate costs and returns from pecan production, and to how manage pecan orchards over time. This work is supported in part by the Rio Grande Basin Initiative.
