dc.description.abstractThis paper presents an application of CFD on solving a compressor vibration problem. The numerical technique was used to calculate the dynamical coefficients of a damper seal with a hybrid hole-pattern - labyrinth configuration, which leads to some difficulties when employing the usual bulk flow based applications.
