TRANSCRIPTION; MESSAGE: To my dear Dad; From his ever loving son David; x x x x; SENT TO: 1642 Lee Cpl Etherington; R A M C
Description(Color) The card claims that the front images are real photographs. The title is written in ornate words, but the picture below the text is a yellow rose between two British flags. The card is bordered in a bas relief floral design. There is no stamp or postmark, but the address is the same as "To my Dear Daddy," sent to a father from his son, David.
This collection previously belonged to Dominic Hibberd, an English biographer most noted for the biographies of Wilfred Owen and Harold Monro, World War I poets. He collected these postcards for research purposes.
