Best Management Practices for Conservation/Reduced Tillage
Abstract
Farmers today should use best management practices to be successful. Because of increased crop production costs, most farmers need to re-evaluate how they till and consider adopting reduced or conservation tillage practices. This publication explains the different tillage systems and reports the results of applying fundamental BMPs at a farm in south central Texas.
